PART 2: Data Analysis (Tells the whole story).

What information is contained in your Data set? (FCAT/FSA)

How many students are being analyzed in your Data set?

How many boys and how many girls?

Were there any absences? How do you know?

What grade level?

Examples:

67% of the students in your Data set struggled in fluency.

33% of the students in your Data set struggled in Comprehension.

Notice that 67% + 33% = 100%

Break down the Data set to tell everything about the students.

Talk about strengths and weaknesses.

Did you notice any discrepancies? (high-low, low-high scores);scores “jumped” up and down.

PART 3: Implementation

Use the data/information from 2, and put into practice/”implement”.

Design a Reading Block that addresses what you wrote in parts 2. (See samples below and “tweak” as necessary).
