Abstract: This literature review describes the barriers against the use of evidence-based practice (EBP) in the delivery of nursing. It also blends the results of various studies that point to similar and interrelated shortcomings, which include deficiency of time, resources, and capacity of the nurses as well as organizational barriers in a healthcare organization.
