Request for Interview with Sunny Red Bear, an Action Organizer at NDN Collective
Subject: Request for an Interview on Inequality and Racial Injustice Issues
Dear Bear,
My name is Murooj Alyami. I am a Master of Social Work (MSW) student. I have a great passion for helping people in diverse communities with the best policy advocacy and developing social changes. I feel great motivation looking at your community struggling hard for better social change, more appreciated advocacy, and a highly empowered society. The purpose of this letter is to request and invite you to an interview due to your outstanding and incredible reputation in the community.
I truly understand that you are an iconic leader within the Native American community. Honestly speaking, I am very much inspired by your dedicated commitment to the creation of positive social changes in the community. An interview with you will help me generate more resourceful ideas about effective ways of developing social change due to your extensive experience and advocacy. You are an inspirational leader who realizes the importance of social change in the community while working collectively and healing people’s wellness through your focused effort, strategy, and vision. I have observed your several efforts in solving critical problems faced by diverse communities together with applying detailed attentive initiatives, thus leading to helping and implementing the development of indigenous communities by establishing strong connections. You have strived hard to deal with the tough problems faced by the communities, such as incarceration, racial injustices, and homelessness.
I would like to request and invite you for an interview where I can discuss more in-depth knowledge, expertise, and facts about social change, social issues, and social justice. I am more than focused on reviewing your concerns about racial injustices and racial inequalities while gaining more comprehensive insights and problem-solving expertise on the identities that might be useful for me as a social worker student.
I would appreciate it if you could please confirm your interview schedule with me in the coming 2-3 weeks. Please feel free to let me know about your preferred method of interview, such as via Zoom, phone, or face-to-face in-person, which will take a maximum of 30 minutes of your time.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Murooj Alyami
