What are your thoughts and takeaways of the readings/discussion from this week with respect to what “performance” means? (i.e., what do you think about what Pfeffer and the “Moral Mazes” readings had to say about this). Also, the readings/discussions suggest that rewards are a coercive mechanism–why is it that they are no different than punishments in terms of the outcomes (i.e., compliance, commitment, resistance)?
