M2L1 Discussion 2: Keith Ferrazzi case – MGMT 565 Week 1-7 Discussion Group 4
Self reflection papers should be no longer than 1-page in length (single spaced, 12 point font, one inch margins). Please ensure that you answer all of the questions asked, and are using appropriate grammar, mechanics and citations/reference as appropriate to the question. This assignment will be graded based upon the Reflections Rubric. See below. Late assignments will be marked down one full grade per day after the due date. This assignment will be kept confidential and will not be shared with others under any circumstances.
Prompt: Rate yourself on the following attributes as described in the Pfeffer book (Ch. 2) and the McGinn & Lingo article: Ambition, Energy/Stamina, Focus, Confidence, Humility/Deference, Self-reflective, Tolerance for Conflict, Empathy/Sensitivity. Rate yourself on a 1-5 scale (where 5 means you possess a lot of the attribute and 1 means you possess little of it). Also, please ask someone that knows you well (and hopefully someone you can trust to be truthful with you) to rate you on these attributes. Please provide the ratings as well as write a very brief description of your self-assessment on each of the attributes. Were there differences in your assessments as compared to the ones you received from the person you asked? If so, what do you think of these? How do these compare to the qualities and attributes you discussed in the last individual writing assignment?
