4/4/24 DM 9:30am-10:30am FC

In this session, the clinician spoke about the client progression in school. Explained some of his challenges. Overall, the client has been doing his appropriate age things in the classroom. He has been focusing on completing many of his assignments by himself. Even though the client is in proximity of the BHT he is still learning how to do things by himself. He often depends on his BHT to help him. However, there is some dependence going on with the client on how he wants to hand certain situations. The parents were very pleased with how everything been turning out for the client. They are hoping to keep in the south school district. They had mentioned that he will benefit from being in this school because he has learned how to adapt to it and grow.

In this session, the mother spoke about the client behavior. In this the client has been doing age-appropriate things regarding his behaviors. However, often times the client tend to have a “off” day where he came into the classroom and starts crying. This usually starts for no reason. There is a token system where the client learns how to deal with some of his struggles. Mother had mentioned that he does have some of those some behaviors at home.

Observation was conducted by the clinician in the ABA-setting. In this setting the client had a new bht who he was building a rapport with. Client is still working on some programs that are being placed by the clinician. The client seemed go be learning how to adapt to what he needs to adapt too. Transition has been going great. The client has been learning how to deal with certain situations such as sitting in his chair and listening to the BHT much better.

Observation was conducted in the ABA-setting. Client was very active in the room with her BHT. The client would maneuver around the aba room with the assistance of the BHT. The tended to want to elope from the classroom but was redirected back to the table where she started and completed her programs. Even though the client did have some difficulty with expressing her feelings concerning what she wanted to do. The client is easily distracted pertaining to some of her behaviors.

In this observation the client has been with his BHT. The client was presented with several different chooses. He was given time to select the one that he wanted to do. Once he completed the activity he would have to participated in the activity that he didn’t want to do. He completed that task as well. BHT had explained that he was doing good. However, the client seemed to be doing good at the beginning of the day. However, when it starts to get into the end of the day the client tends to get frustrated and agitated.
