In this project, you are assigned to design an REA data model

In this project, you are assigned to design an REA data model (Conceptual model) for project case–Ash Accounting firm. The project tests the knowledge learned from ACCT 300 (the techniques are primarily from Chapter 19 & Chapter 20). The company organization and its operation are illustrated in the Ash Accounting Introduction. I also attached the file in your course module under the group project.

     Each group is assigned to analyze one business cycle and complete the six-step REA data model for the assigned business cycle. You can check the group member on your Canvas page—People-> Group Project.

Fixed Asset Business Cycle: Group 1 & Group 5

Purchase Business Cycle: Group 2 & Group 6

Client Service, Billing, and Cash Collection: Group 3 & Group 4

Human Resource Management: Group 7 & 8.

       You are required to follow the six-step design approach to complete your business cycle REA Data Model.

Identify the significant business events

Identify the related resources

Identify the related internal and external agents

Identify relationships between entities

Specify the cardinalities of the relationships

Identify the attributes of the REA entities and relationships

     I uploaded a video lecture about how to complete these six steps with an example. The video-related slides are also attached to the file in your Canvas course module under the group project.

Please ONLY do step number 5. Step number 5 needs to be turned into a diagram. This is a group project for me, so I am only assigned to do step number 5.
