Main Research Question

How does remote work affect the mental health of employees in the human services sector?

Hypothesis

H0: Employees in the human services sector who work remotely do not report higher levels of stress and lower levels of job satisfaction compared to those who work in-person.

H1: Employees in the human services sector who work remotely report higher levels of stress and lower levels of job satisfaction compared to those who work in-person (Becker et al., 2022; Brown, 2022).

Variables

Dependent Variable: Mental health status of employees (measured through levels of self-reported stress and job satisfaction).

Independent Variables:

Work Environment (Remote vs. In-person).

Frequency of Social Interactions (daily, weekly, monthly).

Access to Mental Health Resources (yes or no).
