For your final assignment, you are assigned one of the following topics, found in the Safety and Health Topics area of the OSHA website:

These topics are areas of concern in industrial settings, and you will probably encounter most, if not all, in your future endeavors.

Your assignment consists of the following:

Write a report (3 pages minimum) providing a description of your topic and why it is considered a “Safety and Health Topic”. You should include the following:

Any standards that apply (title and number)

Summaries of pertinent additional information found on the topic page, and where this information can be found

Feel free to use relevant information/examples from other sources than the OSHA site. Cite your references.

Your report should be typed, double-spaced, 12-point font, with 1” margins. You are encouraged to look for other sources of information on your topic. Please cite your references. Please include your name and date in the upper right hand corner of the paper. This assignment serves as a final “exam” and is worth 30% of your grade.
