*I will be creating a video with my classmates, please provide me with a transcript to read from for this assignment. It needs to be simulated group therapy session demonstrating person centered therapy. I will attach an example of a script. You can label me as leader and the patients are Erica and Kevin (these are my classmates names who will be playing the role of members in the group therapy session).

In your assigned groups, create a series of 5- to 10-minute videos in which each of you leads a portion of a group therapy session while the rest of you are active participants. Each group member will create a video as the leader demonstrating a particular type of group therapy (Person centered therapy).

Focus on the leader’s skills, but do not make it a monologue. You can script, partially script, or improvise. Each of these has its benefits and drawbacks but remember you do not have the time for multiple recordings if you fully script a scene and expect it to be exact.

As participants, use some challenging behaviors at times, but don’t completely derail the situation, either. Your group can make a continuing series with the same characters, or each video can stand on its own. If it is a series, make the intended viewing order clear in your discussion posts.

The point of the video is to begin working on group therapy leader skills. You are not expected to have perfect group leader skills, nor are you expected to be skilled actors. You will not be graded on your cinematic or acting ability.

Include the video and your script, and two references you used to create your demonstration (in addition to your textbook).
