Industry Leaders
1. Search the Internet and select an individual who is an industry leader in one of the following: television programming, network television, or a television/video content production company. You may select one of the five individuals from the third preparation assignment.
2. Write a paper explaining the individual you chose, and be sure to address all of the following: Who did you choose? Why did you choose them? What is their background? How did they become a leader in their area? What shows/programs/video content are they associated with? Why do you consider them successful? Provide details or examples.
What skills do they have that contribute to their success? How do these contribute? How have they contributed to the success of the shows and programs they are associated with? What distinguishes them from others in the industry? What did you learn from them that may help you in your career?
3. Use Word or any word processing program to write your paper. Your paper should be 3-5 double-spaced pages using 12-point font. Incorporate the concepts and terminology learned from the Glossary provided and from this week’s Lesson into the paper, demonstrating your grasp of the key words and terms and how the entities and person you chose reflect the concepts learned in this week’s Lesson. Make sure to cite the sources of your research.
