we will focus on Grant Funding Proposals. This type of proposal stresses the needs of a project. In completing this assignment, you will demonstrate how your project will help fulfill the goals of an organization that needs funding to solve a problem.  Your task is to complete the steps needed to write a funding proposal for a Nonprofit Agency. Keep in mind, the goal is to get your project accepted. 

Fund a proposal for the Nonprofit Agency called Save the children 

Prepare the steps needed to write a proposal to secure funding for a Nonprofit Agency. You will select an agency that you would like to provide assistance for and explain how to request funding needed for a project. 
1. Include the name of the Nonprofit Agency. Next, research a directory of foundations that will assist you with funding. 

2 . Obtain a funding source to purchase an item/s your agency needs or would like to have. You will need to address what the funds will be used for. The funds could be used for a special project, training equipment, to fund meals for the homeless, or meals for students during the summer months.

-For example, My objective would be to assist the United Way with providing masks for area communities or request funding to provide meals and services for senior citizens to distribute at a local community center. I would need to research the organization’s history that provides resources and determine the steps to write a proposal that would meet the community’s needs. I located the RRF-Responsive Grants Advocacy foundation online. The company provides $10,000 -$160,000 and will receive full proposals until August 1, 2021. 

3. Indicate the funding amount you will request from a sponsor or foundation. How is this done? Students will need to determine how much the item or items will cost and provide an estimate of how many items are needed to resolve your problem. 

For example, seek funding from an area foundation or sponsor to assist with the cost of providing 1000 masks. If a mask costs $9, the number of masks expected to purchase is 1000. The total cost is $9000 and is also the requested amount for the proposal.  This is an estimate for the project.
