1. Email the mayor or a member of the city council for the town you live (letter-email #1) and also do a separate email to the mayor of Chicago (letter-email #2).  The decisions of your mayor and the mayor of Chicago can dramatically affect your daily lives.

2. Write a letter-email to each in which you comment on a subject of interest to you.  This letter may be a complaint, a complement, or an inquiry.  The topic must be related to politics or public policy.
