This is not to be written in manuscript form or as an essay, rather, it should be the outline of what you will present.
The outline should be crafted before you present your speech.
It should follow general outline formatting and guidelines – refer to Preparation Outline in your textbook.
The outline should be written in complete sentences – no list and no paragraphs for the outline.  
Research is required for the Persuasive Speech, include a minimum of 3 credible (use the textbook guidelines) sources using APA formatting. Personal experience alone is not acceptable.
The goal is to PERSUADE, not to INFORM. Think of persuasive speaking as “convincing.”
You must have a CALL to ACTION in your conclusion that is specific and well-worded.
Use one of the persuasive organizational formats:
                                    Problem – solution
                                    Problem-cause- solution
                                    Monroe’s Motivated Sequence
In this speech, you will persuade on a topic of your choice.
