City Council Meeting Observation

Hello and good evening to my writer, Our assignment this semester was to attend a city council meeting at any time during the semester I did attend in my city, Parma Height’s in the state of Ohio on February 10, 2020, For this paper, you are to type a brief narrative of what I would have observed while attending this meeting, you are to type, between 500 and no more than 750 words, the paper should be double-spaced and using Times New Roman 12 point font, and include page numbers. In addition, you should obtain a copy of the meeting’s agenda to submit as part of this assignment, (which I already have). The content of this written paper should include not only observations about was discussed but what was accomplished (were ordinances passed) (Yes see Attached), and who testified before the council. You should also note the tone of the meeting. Did the tone of the meeting appear cordial or tense? (The meeting was cordial) Was it formal or casual in its orientations? (the meeting was formal), For the most part, I began by contacting the clerk of council Mrs. Bohdan asking her to verify when a public meeting is to be held and the time and place of the meeting. She responded quickly giving me a list of dates and times available to the public she also included the agendas for the February 10, 2020 meeting with the City Of Parma Height’sMayor’s Caucus starting at 6:00 pm and lasted until 6:50 pm. And the City Of Parma Height’s Council Meeting starting at 7:00 pm. As this being my first council meeting it was not very loud they all talked low I could bearly hear their answers, And I was a bit confused at what was going on if not for the agenda I could just keep up. I wish I could have asked them to speak up a little louder this was a great opportunity to observe governmental activity directly. See all Attached documents.
