The focus for this activity is to build on all the activities done this week so far, and construct a workflow that helps you visualize and prioritize your tasks. We have already worked on the value of visualizing your responsibilities and commitments, so now we will visualize a workflow that you can prioritize and plan appropriately. That tool is a visual control board called Personal Kanban.

Build a physical kanban board for your life over the next week based on the following instructions.
Organize a large space and get medium post-it notes. The “large space” can be a whiteboard, wall, mirror, door, or anything you frequently see while you are home.
Create three columns titled To Do, Doing, and Done.
Write on the post-it notes the tasks that need to be completed.
Move a post-it note to Doing once you have actually begun the task. Don’t move it to Doing with only a plan of starting!
Once the task is completed, move the post-it note to Done
Write a summary of your experience in creating the board, what you discovered in exploring it, and a photo of your board. Also address the following:Did too many tasks get bottlenecked in the Doing column? How did that feel? How can you avoid it?
Did you celebrate the tasks you completed? How did you feel?
Were you able to pace yourself better when you were actually seeing your tasks?
