For this assignment, you will create a short research paper in which you will need to conduct research using the ESC Library.  You will be required to use scholarly sources of information related to the topic you select from the following list:
Preventing trauma at a specific age or at any age
Building resilience before or after a traumatic event
How communities heal after community-wide trauma events: such as programs of violence interrupters, immigration treatment, rape counseling centers
Healing from generational trauma
Healing from or historic trauma
Treating trauma with different methods: (individuals or family or group)
Treating trauma at different ages or for a specific age group
The stages of healing from trauma, and the tasks that must be accomplished at each stage
Post-Traumatic Growth
Parent interventions
Teacher or church interventions
The 5-6 page paper must include the following key points:
State the importance of the topic within the field of child trauma.
A summary of the core concepts about the treatment or healing approach drawn from 2-3 different authors from at least 5 scolarly sources.
A comment on the efficacy of the approach(es).
A brief case example either drawn from the literature or of your own making.
