Coastal Cottage Guest Getaway
Your clients have asked you to redesign a small outdated guest room in their coastal cottage home. This home is close to the water and valued at $950,000 dollars. They are looking for a fresh, clean updated look. They ask that you incorporate a minimum of a queen size bed, two sided tables, area to sit and read, and additional storage for guests. Also, they would like a woven, wool or sisal rug/rug(s) high thread count blankets, sheets, pillows, etc. The current lighting set up is not the best, with only one ceiling fan in the room, so they are looking for better lighting solutions ( three layers of lighting ). Additionally, they requested unique and innovative solutions through thoughtfully designed/purchased furniture and accessory selections. The clients request different flooring than carpet and only LOW VOC paint to be used on the painted surfaces. There is no closet in this room and one can’t be built, be sure to take that into consideration when selecting furniture. Guest stay on average 3-7 days when visiting.
