COM-212 2-2 Discussion: Active Listening
Active listening involves attentively seeking to understand a speaker’s message, rather than passively hearing the words. Active listeners provide verbal and nonverbal feedback to show their sincere investment in what the speaker is sharing. What can you do while listening to a speech to show that you are actively listening to the speaker? Do you have any unique techniques to show you are actively listening?
