After reviewing the above PowerPoint slide on resistance to change, come up with a “change” that needs to occur in your workplace. If you are not currently working, you may address an issue from a previous employer OR from a previous school team project. This can be something like changing operation hours so you’re now open on the weekends and you need coverage, changing a product you use, or even a new leader coming in.
Once you have all decided on the change you are going to implement you need to think ahead about those employees who will have some resistance to the change. List out the following items:
What change will occur at your company?
Whom will this affect?
Why would there be any resistance to this change?
What methods of dealing with the resistance to change will you implement and how?
