An integral component of the course is interacting with individuals of differing cultural backgrounds in order to foster intercultural communication and understanding.  The program runs throughout the semester.  Since we are observing social distancing during the class, you might connect via online or social media with a person from a different culture or a family member and conduct several interviews and talks with this person during the semester. The topic can be determined by you.              Journaling is recommended after you have interacted with your partners/ city planners/ persons you interviewed.  Take time to write down impressions, observations, feelings, and insights you have gained.    Intercultural Insight Report and Intercultural interactions. You need to make connections between your academic and experiential learning.
