Step 1: Read The Moral Compass, Chapters 6-7, focusing on the section covering Kantian ethics. Then re-read the case study from The Moral Compass, Chapter 24, that you used in your previous papers for Modules 4 and 5:
Case 5 – “The Island Escape”
Case 10 – “Intensive Care”
Case 11 – “Sex and Drugs”

For this paper, consider the same case study you explored in Modules 4 and 5.

Step 2: You will write a short, though well-written, college level paper including each of the elements below.
PAPER FORMAT
Use whatever writing format you are most comfortable with (APA, MLA, etc.).
Include your name, the professor’s name, the course name, and the date.
Give your paper a title (relating it to the assignment or the case you chose).
Include a Work Cited Page and Word Count.
Section 1: Introduction to Kantian Ethics
Provide a brief introduction of Kantian Ethics.
Include any relevant details including its history, main proponents, key concepts, etc.
Section 2: Main Ethical Issue
List the main ethical issue from the case study in the correct format (for review, see Module 2).
If you have received any feedback on your previous paper(s), please consider that and make revisions as necessary.

Even if you identify several issues or concerns, identify and list only the one you think is the main ethical issue.
Section 3: Application of Kantian EthicsApply the steps of Kantian Ethics to resolve the main ethical issue.

Section 4: ConclusionBriefly describe the outcome of your application of Kantian Ethics. Which option(s) might be considered as ethical if the subject were a Kantian thinker?

Works Cited PageInclude proper citations for all sources used (which will include at a minimum the course textbook as the source of the case studies).
