Oral (recorded) Commentary: What is Dialogue?Aim: Students will articulate their practice experience of the technique of dialogue, their critical thinking about the use of dialogue in community practice, and explore what they are learning about their own practice of dialogue. Students will draw on the literature relating to the micro methods of community practice to support their learning. Students’ analysis must be supported by reference to a range of literature and the course materials.

Task: This assessment is linked to the student’s own engagement in the learning activities and course material on the course site.The student will use the medium of an audio podcast to reflect and explore the meaning, the theoretical framework, and the practice of using dialogue in community practice.The recording is a digital audio file. The student will record their thinking and learnings about the skill of dialogue.

Criteria
Introduction. The student has provided a clear introduction and description of their key understandings of the practice of dialogue and the intentional conversation. The student has drawn on observations from skills material within the course. (6 Marks)
