The assignment is the 1st part of the research writing. This assignment should be typewritten, double-spaced, 1 page, and submitted hard copy (on paper) in class on the date due. (See below for what is required in the assignment.)

Use the list to explore and investigate the items that are connected to the subjects of 1) Czechoslovakia, 1968 – 1989; and 2) Czechoslovakian independence from the former Soviet Union in 1989 (“The Velvet Revolution”).

Use GOOGLE, WIKIPEDIA, and other online encyclopedias and reference works for basic information and common knowledge. Identify of special interest to you 3 subjects for further possible research. That way you keep open research options and flexibility depending on the fruitfulness of findings.
