Blvck Paris is an e-commerce fashion industry founded in 2017, originally headquartered in Paris but relocated to Belgium with around 7-10 employees (De Lucchi, E. 2021). The company ‘s revenue is estimated around $500k monthly(De Lucchi, E. 2021). The Company focused on lifestyle apparel for men and women, and small merchandise gadgets, such as Laptop/phone cases, cups, toys and other souvenirs where they distribute internationally. The company is owned by Julian O’hayon, 26 year old entrepreneur where he began to market the product by representing the in depth color of black that he applied on his product see figure below(De Lucchi, E. 2021). Which gained popularity on Instagram with 100k followers in the first 6 weeks which made them invest in building the company(De Lucchi, E. 2021).
Figure 1, shows example pictures of accessories of a starbuck cup and M&M snack in complete black.
Figure 2, I will be using this hoodie jacket clothing as a chosen product to establish a marketing trade on the list of chosen countries(Egypt, Ghana, Korea, Mexico or the United Kingdom). As their marketing target is focused on luxury and high end consumers that are passionate about fashion and those that are into color black. I would apply the 4-PS (Price, Product, Place and promotion from a domestic perspective:
Product: This hoodie, as the most iconic hoodie in their store, comes in the 6 Size with XS, S, M, l, XL and XXL. by adding the logo across the chest to bring a minimalist, streetwear look. Made from a special luxurious terry cotton. Target customer is mainly female because their organization sell luxury goods differently by gender
Pice: The hoodie is luxurious according to brand, so the price of this hoodie cost 108.95 euro. Mainly their marketing platform is instagram with 1.2million followers and facebook with 97 thousand followers when their customers are middle to upper middle class. Since this company is ecommerce platform, customers are relying on the shipping cost because sometimes people don’t pay shipping cost when its almost the same as the value of the product, additional tax included depending on the country.
Place: Blxck Paris was originally from Paris, but relocated to belgium. The store has physical stores not in paris but has Taipei, taiwan that were recently in 2021 and planning to open more physical stores in the coming future.
Promotion: Their e-commerce is based online, so they will have to rely on their own website and social media platforms. Blvck Paris Instagram became the most successful social-marketing platform with the 1.2million followers representing main products in special black color, along with facebook with 97,000 followers as secondary selling platform.
