Deliverables The exigence for this assignment is imagining you are all colleagues within a competing organization or company; you will compose an internally-focused series of reports and documents that explain the industry context and messaging of your competition. you are expected to Identify a company or organization with that publishes an annual report for shareholders which you can analyze;Identify and analyze ongoing trends or concerns within the company or organization’s industry;Compose an annotated bibliography of articles speaking to the ongoing trends and concerns in the industry and the company itself;Compose a brief (2-3pp) analytical report on the trends and contexts influencing the company, making claims and using evidence from your annotated bibliography;Compose a brief (2-3pp) analytical report on the letter to shareholders in the company’s annual report and how they establish goodwill in their letter, making claims and using evidence from the letter to shareholdersCompose individual reflective memos that identify your individual contributions to the collaboration as well as assessing the overall effectiveness of the group.
Guidelines for Annotated BibilographyResearch the broader context to develop a bibliography of current articles that identify trends, problems, or good news in a specific industry or with the company. Your bibliography should summarize 6–10 articles. Be specific and use examples.Write detailed comments about your team role. Describe the role or roles that you played. In addition, discuss your contributions to the project. Although all members of a group are required to submit all elements of the project, you will only be assessed based on your contributions. Assessment of Project Materials (200 points)Do the materials conduct effective analysis of the relevant issues–ethos/credibility and contextual influences?Do the materials make clear assertions/claims with textual evidence to support these claims?Do the materials present information in such a way as to maximize readability?Do the materials use organizational principles to help readers?Do the materials use multimodal elements (images, graphics, etc) to help readers?Do the materials reflect the writing strategies (paragraphing; syntax; diction; active vs. passive voice) learned in units one and two?Assessment of Justification memo (100 points)Does the memo reflect upon the rhetorical choices made in the documents?Does the memo provide evidence to demonstrate how and why the rhetorical choices were made?Does the memo fully account for all documents?
