Assignment Overview: A narrated PPt presentation (15-20 slides, 10-15 minutes long) providing an overview that could serve as an introduction of kingdom education for a potential stakeholder. To be included in your presentation are answers to the following:

What is the kingdom?

What is kingdom education?

How is kingdom education different from traditional Christian education?

Why is kingdom education needed?

How is kingdom education distinct in its: philosophy, mission, outcomes, culture, and pedagogy?

Be mindful of effective PPt principles such as:

Begin with a helpful title slide and an abstract slide.

The “notes” feature should be used to provide “script notes” for each slide.

“References” slides in proper APA format should be included at the end of the presentation.

Do not overload slides with content or visuals.

Avoid non-standard fonts, animations, distracting backgrounds, etc.

Other considerations:

Be careful to utilize course required readings and any other readings to support your claims.

The final full PPt presentation should be submitted through the appropriate assignments link and also as an attachment to a post in your group’s discussion board. When you submit to the assignment link, include your completed self-assessed rubric.

Each discussion group member is expected to review and comment on their peers’ presentations and ask questions if appropriate. The expectation is that these observations and/or questions will be substantive. Each presenter is to respond to each peer’s feedback and questions.
