FLDP 3027 Final culminating paper
Part one: Introduction
In this section you will write a brief description of your initial thoughts about working with children between the ages of zero to three. You should choose to focus on any potential biases that you came to the class with, or thinking that you feel has changed over the course of the semester. This section should be short (approx. 100-200 words)
Part two: Reflective practice:
In this section you write about the process of reflective writing. You will not be copying and pasting your prior discussion forum notes, rather you will be writing about what you learned through the process of writing reflections over the course of the semester. In this section, you should pay close attention to the feedback that you were given by your peers and how this feedback solidified or changed the way that you thought about or understood the topic(s) that you wrote about. In this section, you should include an example of one of your reflective writing discussion posts to illustrate your thinking. This section should make up most of your paper and should be approximately 300-500 words.
Part three: conclusion:
This is the closing section of your paper. In this section, you should write about what specific learnings you have gained through this process that you will bring with you to fourth semester and beyond. You should focus on specific concepts or ideas that demonstrate how engaging in reflective practice has changed, solidified, or enhanced your understanding of these concepts or ideas. In this section, you should also focus on the specific, comments, discussions, or experiences that assisted you in making this change in your thinking. This section of your paper should be approximately 100-200 words.
