For your case assignment, you are to plan to immerse yourself within a context where you would be in the minority position. Your minority position could be related to your race, ethnicity, gender, religious beliefs, sexual identity, etc. Your task is to write a 4-5 page response paper where you detail your experiences of being in a minority position. You should pay close attention and report in your paper on what it was like for you, taking into account how your thoughts, emotions, and behavior were influenced by the your felt sense of being in the minority. In addition, please interview a member of the majority in whatever context you are investigating and ask them about their experiences interacting with members of minority populations within the social context you are studying, and ask them about their own thoughts, emotions, and behavioral reactions.
