Gender Roles throughout history:
Television is often a reflection of current societal values and norms- including gender roles. For this course project you are being asked to discuss and describe gender roles from specific periods of time as portrayed on television.  To complete this project, you will need to rely on several media sources in obtaining data and information.  For example, you will need to watch several you-tube clips on television shows from previous decades.  You will also need to research credible resources where experts provide commentary and assessment of gender roles and the cultural impact of television in any given era.   (Information to consider – Describe the typical gender role of women and men, describe the gender role conflict of that era, what is the culture/race of, workplace gender role, gender roles in the home)  Each week a different section of the course project will be due: All Papers are to be  in APA Format 2-3 pages,  not including Cover and Reference pages.
