3. Evaluate President Andrew Jackson. How did he change the strength, perceptions and legacy of the office?  Use examples of the actions he made to alter the Executive Branch and the political system.  Do you think electing Jackson was the best thing for America, or should we regret his presidency?

4. What was the “Virginia Dynasty?” Relate two major events or decisions coming from each president during this time.  Who do you think was the strongest member of this group?  Were there any lasting effects of this era?  Give at least two examples of lasting effects.
