NUR400- Week 5: Clinical Practice Experience (CPE) Project, Part 4
In the first part of the CPE project, a technological device/system was identified, a literature search conducted, and an annotated bibliography completed. The second part of the project included a product description. The third part of the project included an implementation plan for the selected technological device/system. The fourth and final part of the CPE project combines the first three parts of the project and ensures the development of presentation and communication skills designed to persuade and influence health care decision-making.
Part 4 of the CPE project is a voice-over PowerPoint (PPT) presentation that should last 5-10 minutes with no more than 10 slides (not including a title and reference slide). The PPT presentation should include:
-
- An explanation of the device/system and its purpose
- The device/system features and how it will improve safety or client care
- The implementation plan
- Any barriers or opportunities related to the implementation plan
- Strategies to a successful implementation into the organization
- Development of a plan to evaluate the effectiveness of the device/system as it relates to quality client outcomes
