Due at the end of Week 4.

A retrospective is a compilation of representative examples of work from a major part of person’s life. This assignment provides the opportunity for you to review the work you have completed throughout this program. In doing so, you will recognize milestones and significant events that have contributed towards your professional growth.

Using the program outcomes as a framework, you will compose a Program Outcomes Retrospective Paper explaining how you have mastered each program outcome and how this experience has contributed to your professional growth. For each program outcome, use one or more capstone artifacts to provide concrete examples of these milestone moments in a well-developed, clear, and thorough rationale paragraph.

Required Elements: 

Level 1 Section Headers are centered and Level 2 Section Headers are left-justified.

Level 1 Section Header: Introduction

• Describe the purpose of the paper.

Level 1 Section Header: Overview of Outcomes

• Describe what Program Outcomes (PO) are and their purpose.
• Describe how the BSN Essentials are imperative to nursing practice.
• Discuss the importance of aligning POs to the BSN Essentials in an academic program.

Level 2 Section Header for each PO

• Share the PO and the BSN Essentials that align with this PO.
• Discuss artifacts that illustrate how you have mastered this PO and aligning its aligning BSN Essentials.

Level 1 Section Header: Gaps in Evidence

• If applicable, discuss any POs and aligning BSN Essentials that are not exemplified in course artifacts.

Level 1 Section Header: Application

• Discuss how you will apply mastered competencies, as defined in POs and BSN Essentials, to practice.

• Share the personal goals you developed during this program as described in your Individual Student Profile (ISP).
