- Using the one issue identified, identified in the CPE part 2, create a plan to educate the selected nursing unit on that issue. Be sure to tie in the culture and generation you chose in CPE part 3 into the planning, implementation and evaluation of the plan.
- Discuss what the education would entail:
- How you would set up the educational offering
- Identification of a measurable outcome
- Discussion of the evaluation plan. You will not actually implement and evaluate for this assignment. However, you must describe the strategy and the evaluation tool (e.g., post-test, survey, peer evaluation, reflective statement, etc.)
- Include what the literature search supported with the implementation of this educational plan.
- Consider ways to gain support from the organization and from the staff
- What is the leadership approach that you would use?
- Identify the barriers that a manager could encounter attempting to implement the selected intervention within the identified culture with the various considerations.
