Please take 10-15 minutes and reflect on the three (3) team activities. Consider how the assignments enhanced your own understanding of concepts related to the Quad Aim and health improvement models, about editorials as a way to advocate for improving outcomes in population health, and ways to use evidenced based interventions to improve health outcomes among high-risk population aggregates. Finally, reflect on how these course activities improved your skills in team work. Consider your own behaviors as well as those of your peers on the team; include those behaviors you found beneficial or distracting from the team process.
Write a brief summary (maximum 1 page) that describes the team experience and provides analysis of your own and your team members’ contributions to the team effort. The exemplary reflective statement:
Uses clear and expressive language to create a mental picture of the situation being described;
Provides an analysis of how your experience contributed to better understanding of yourself and your peers.
Includes a description of how the team process enhanced your understanding of course concepts, and
Demonstrates your ability to question your own biases, stereotypes, preconceptions, or assumptions about team work and take on a “new way of thinking”.
