Problem Statement: There is a lack of available and affordable resources for military families on bases overseas. Often there are products left on the shelves that people are not interested in that could be allocated to provide more of what people want and less waste.

Potential Solution: Create a sound board for the community to bring awareness and potentially get more resources and more of what the community wants.

The goal is for the audience to acknowledge that there is a problem. Then, develop a plan that can support more resources and more variety with products that are currently low quality or no existent.

Describe how you might engage your personal agency to overcome any potential obstacles.

Using surveys would allow the use of asking specific questions to obtain the data required without the extra stories that may be more personal than factual or beneficial for the group. Also setting a time line would help keep track of the goal and keep me on track.

Evaluate the degree to which your personal agency changed as a result of addressing this problem.

Addressing the issue of low resources easily become personal and I would have to pull back and think about how the problem identified can affect the group rather than just what I think. I found that the idea of asking others has helped validate my ideas without unnecessary influence.
