SOC212 Assignment 1: Current Event

Students will find a current news article online.  Students will write a one-page paper containing first, a summary of the news article in which proper APA citation is used to refer to any content from the article.  The second portion of the paper must identify which chapter(s) from your book that the article relates to and a sociological explanation of the issues in the article.  Use at least 5 bolded terms from the chapter(s) you are relating the article to.  This portion of the paper must also contain appropriate APA citations for in text references from the book.  While the body of the paper is only one page, be sure to include a second page with your APA formatted bibliography.
