Statistical Applications: Task 2
Welcome to week two. This week, we will be learning to use jamovi. Please open jamovi and view the video entitled “Navigating jamovi”.
- Describe where your data is located in jamovi and where your output is located.
- From the “Analyze” menu, go to the “Modules” menu (the plus on the upper right). Download the following into jamovi:
- R data sets and
- Learning statistics with jamovi (these are data sets related to our textbook.
- Now, go to the data file entitled iris and open it. Use the screen capture tool to copy the screen (while the iris data is visible). Paste that scrrenfile document here:
- Ensure the variable types are set to “continuous” for Sepal Length, Sepal Width, Petal Length, and Petal Width. Also ensure that Species is listed as “nominal”. After you do this, explain why those were chosen for each variable:
- Create a new jamovi file for the following data:
