you will conduct an interview, and then analyze your research. You will present your interview transcript , and your insights in a report. You will interview someone who can help you learn more about the topic you are researching this semester. You will write the interview questions; questions should help you learn about your topic. Questions can also cover the perspective on the topic. The questions created for the interview will be specific to the person being interviewed and the information you are interested in uncovering. Once you have conducted the interview you will report the interview results. you need to give a transcript of the interview.
For part 2 of this project, you will analyze the information collected from the interview, as well as research from your annotated bibliography and Atwood’s novel. You will give an insights section that analyzes your findings from the interview . While the primary purpose of this assignment is to conduct field research, I also want you to start thinking about how the book, the research (presented in the annotated bibliography), and field research fits together (or does not fit together). Questions to help guide your analysis:
What did you learn about your topic from conducting the field report? How is your topic represented in the research you found for the annotated bibliography and your field report? What are the similarities found between your annotated bibliography research, field research, and book? What are the contrasts found between your annotated bibliography research, field research, and book?
How did Atwood depict your topic in Orxy and Crake? Is it different or similar to what you found from your field research? How has your research shaped your perspective of your topic? Part 3: Writing up the Feild Report The last step in this project is to write up your results in a report.
