the pantheon

You are allowed to research the history of the construction, the history of the site (the other buildings there before the Pantheon, and its history after the end of the Roman Empire. I believe that there is enough detail, architectural and sculptural to keep your interest. Things to keep in mind: Why was the Pantheon built in that style? Is it in its original state (meaning: does it looks the same as it did when the Roman Empire was in existence)? Does it look different now and why? What was the building’s original purpose? Who used it and why?Are there any newer constructions that utilize the same or similar building/architectural designs and or techniques? What are they? You may find that you must look at other artworks and buildings to discover techniques, changes and or influences that affect the Pantheon and architecture that comes after.
