This is the instruction. This week and last week you heard a lot about the Bible, including multiple perspectives regarding whether or not it is true and details from Genesis. Take one side of the debate regarding whether the Bible is true or not. State the side you are representing and list three or more reasons why that side could be true. (This does not have to be the side you believe–this is an intellectual exercise. Choose some points that can help make a case for the side you are discussing). You can draw on our resources for this week and last week, since the Week 1 material is also relevant to this question regarding the truth of the Bible–and we have not discussed that material yet, including the “Reason for God-Chapter 1” video, the discussion between a pastor and a group of atheists. I always find that the many views represented in that video very interesting.
