You have identified a quality care or patient safety issue which negatively impacts patient outcomes and have determined evidence-based practice strategies which could solve the issue. Equipped with that knowledge, you will now write a paper guiding implementation of activities to accomplish that goal. You will use the paper template and the information you gathered in the first milestone.

You will collaborate with diverse key stakeholders (unit manager/other departments in the practice area as well as at least one interprofessional stakeholder from outside the organization) for the purpose of gaining a global perspective.

Step 2: Compose

Compose an 8 to 10-page, APA-formatted paper consisting of the following components:

• Change Model Overview:
  1. Overview of the Star Model of Knowledge Transformation^©.
  2. Define the scope of the evidence-based practice (EBP).
  3. Identify the diverse stakeholders and determine the responsibility of the team members and members of the interprofessional (IPE) team.
• Evidence:
  1. Conduct internal and external searches of evidence.
  2. Integrate and summarize the Evidence Summary worksheet from Milestone 1.
  3. Develop a recommendation for change.
• Translation:
  1. Develop an action plan, including team members and responsibilities.
  2. Include measurable outcomes.

Include a reasonable timeline for implementation.
