Appraise the ethical issues surrounding “end-of-life”  considerations.  Specifically, analyze advanced directives, euthanasia  and assisted suicide from a patient perspective. Why are these issues so controversial?  What are the legal and ethical ramifications associated with these issues? Reflect on the passage from your course text (p.501) What is Your  Opinion? Will You Choose to Live or Die? Compare the implications of  prolonging life for older adults versus younger people.
