Santeria in Latin America
      The topic of this paper is to describe Santeria; a ceremonious, Afro-Cuban religion and its presence in Latin America. It will first explain the origins of the religion, and the taboos that follow it. Consequently, this paper will discuss Santeria’s rituals, beliefs, and practices. Also, this paper will describe some negative critique that some people may have about the beliefs and practices within the religion. Furthermore, it will inform which Latin American countries have a high concentration of Santeros, which is someone who practices Santeria. Lastly, it will discuss some religions in Latin American countries that can be considered closely related to Santeria.
