The new proposal renovation of the building has several changes that will help develop a better project using this new model. The new model has merging walls, which show important walls that are parallel to each other, with ends connected and further they are of the same type. Several provisions have been made to improve the new renovation. The first change for instance is to make sure that the renovated project has larger space provisions for various uses. For instance, the new fitting has larger window spaces to allow greater natural light penetration. Larger staircase to sort greater human traffic as well as the movement of office furniture with greater ease. Air circulation is also accounted for in larger windows and ventilation provisions. Other changes that can be done in the new project include, sensor lighting and security system, sound and temperature insulation, and heating and cooling system. These changes enhance energy sustainability in the new building, so little artificial energy consumption will be required in this building.

Sustainable construction should motivate modern-day construction designs and projects. Baird, Leeman, and Thompson (2012) write that users are the biggest beneficiaries of sustainable buildings. Essentially, one wants to develop a building where users feel most comfortable staying or working inside it. This is why this improvement considers all-round issues that may affect the comfort of users and energy sustainability to reduce the carbon footprint of the building. Other improvements include solar panels to enhance the use of renewable energy in the building. A modern roof with gutters to collect water, which is recycled and used is fitted. Lastly, open space on the first floor is added so that it gives users some open outdoor feeling when they want to relax.
