Week 15 Discussion 1

Instructions:

In order for this assignment to count for a grade, the following must have been done:

• Access Quiz completed and 100% score achieved. 
• Signed Syllabus Agreement form submitted. 
• Attendance or summary of the syllabus review lecture completed. 

Discussion Post Requirements:

• Responses must be well thought out and well written.
• Responses must include 2+ references to the readings, videos, and/or activities assigned for the week and appropriately cited.
• Responses must focus on both course material first and personal reflection second.
• Initial responses must be between 350-500 words (worth 5 points) and posted no later than Wednesday by 11:59 p.m., responses posted after Wednesday but before discussions close on Saturday will be considered late and assessed a late penalty.
• Responses to classmates must include at least two (2) substantive peer interactions (i.e. reply to one or more posts by a classmates using 100 or more words (worth 2.5 points each, up to 5 points total) in which you offer your own insight or ask probing questions) and posted no later than Saturday by 11:59 p.m.. No responses can be posted to the discussion board once it closes.
•  All three responses must take place on separate days. Any post that is completed on the same day as another post will not count towards your required posts for the discussion board.
•  Any post that does not include the declaration statement will not be accepted for a grade.

Word count does not include the declaration statement or topic/question re-stated.

Each assignment submitted must include the following statement either before the response to the topic, after the response, or in the submission box (for assignments that are submitted in assignment dropboxes) and not doing so will result in your assignment not being accepted for a grade:”I declare that this assignment is my own work and that I have correctly acknowledged the work of others.  This assignment is in accordance with University and School guidance on good academic conduct (and how to avoid plagiarism and other assessment irregularities).”

Then do some research about how ABA is being applied throughout your community. In this post, mention some of the agencies who specialize in providing ABA services in your community AND/OR companies/organizations who are using ABA principles (such as MammaCare). Note what kind of ABA principles are being used, what kind of goals are these agencies looking to achieve and how are they achieving them.
